Your template remembers the last meeting: review it before asking for help

Reuse preparation, check its facts

Before loading a personal template for another conversation, review which instructions remain true. If the previous one said “we are discussing Tuesday’s draft”, do not retain it as a description of today’s meeting. A template reuses preparation; it does not confirm events or turn a suggested reply into your commitment.

Aurora documents personal templates that you can save, load, update or delete. The following exercise is an external way to prepare their content, not a reproduction of application fields or buttons.

Three lines to review without other people’s data

Fictional example: you prepared a photography club discussion. Your earlier note said: “I want feedback on the draft; the gathering is Tuesday; I have not confirmed printing.” You are now discussing the final text.

Before reusing it, separate:

  • Current goal: ask for feedback on the final text. Change “draft” if it no longer describes the material.
  • Fact to confirm: the gathering date. Do not carry Tuesday forward just because a template contains it.
  • Boundary to keep: do not promise printing before agreeing to it.

A new preparation could read: “I want to discuss the final text. I will ask when the gathering is. I am not confirming printing yet.” This is invented editorial text, not an Aurora-generated reply or a guaranteed result.

Loading and updating are separate decisions

Load the relevant preparation and read it before requesting help. If a change should be reused, decide whether to update the existing template or save another preparation. Do not assume every edit was saved: check the content when loading it again through the available controls.

Avoid names, other people’s data or confidential details you do not need. When asking the optional assistant for help, consider what you are providing: that route can send session text and guidance to Codex/OpenAI and requires internet, an account, access and available usage limits. The Aurora license neither includes nor guarantees them.

Review the final suggestion too

Even with correct preparation, read the proposal before using it. In this example, “we will print tomorrow” would add an unconfirmed commitment. Reword that part or ask first; sounding natural is not sufficient.

Templates persist across sessions, but this guide does not present them as recordings, verified minutes or replacements for your decisions. The assistant is optional and separate from local captions, transcription and translation.
